Finally Light!!!

Our ceiling fan had broken in the Family Room,

We replaced it with one from upstairs

but you could not turn on the fan without the light

So...since we needed the fan to run without the light we had taken the bulbs out..

The room was without light for at least a month...

We finally found a fan/light fixture that we both loved and is perfect for the room!

I wish it took higher wattage bulbs but all in all it is great!

52" so nice size for the room

Close to the ceiling so no head bumping.

Outdoor motiff...matches the lamp shades that we already had in there...

We also put it on a remote....woo hooo!!!

LOVE IT!

Samuel @ Eli's Christmas Program

Of course Eli had to be at the school 30 min before the program started

So Samuel and I had to hang out for a LONG time.

He's so cute!

Eli's Christmas Program

This was for the K's and 1st graders only!

It was actually really cute!

The kids on the floor were the "polar express"

they sidestepped around the gym while the

music was going like a moving train.

It was nice becuase the way the gym was set up

everyone could see their kids and get decent pictures

as they came around, they came around like 4 times.

He is the one facing the stage...

fortunatly this was the extent of his fooling around

He's a ham!

They went up on the stage to get pictures taken after the "preformance"

I could not believe how many girls got roses, yes plural, from their parents!

Eli...School Visit

I got to visit Eli's class today...no, I am not set up for regular volenteering yet...

It was a great time! Mostly I participated in centers

so I didn't get that many pictures.

Eli was very good, even though I was there

He never once left where he was supposed to be

or what he was supposed to be doing to come by me.

Getting his lunch box!

Lunch is at 10:30 so I got to go to Lunch and eat with him.

In line for the bathroom, what chaos to take all

22 of them to the bathroom at one time!

Lunch...he was good to his friends,

and helpful.

It was a good day!

Surprise Visit!!!

We got a rare but nice surprise visit from Devan today...

the boys were very excited to see her..

the three of them played a game together...

They chose BibleLand (similar to CandyLand)

They did a good job taking turns...
Eli gets better all the time at moving his piece himself,
actually learning the rules...
and following them.



She loves her bro's (especially since she no longer lives with them)

The Tooth Fairy

Eli lost his first tooth yesterday, unfortunatly he was not at home so I did not get pics of the whole experience.

Apparently he had a semi loose tooth and bit into an apple and then the tooth was hanging by a thread. He tried to pull it out himself but it hurt to much so he asked Katie to do it.

He was so excited...we put the tooth into his ToothFairy box... and he put it under his pillow for the ToothFairy who as you all know gives "books" for presents when you lose a tooth.

He was very excited this am that his books had arrived...

and the tooth was gone...
