Swimming...Lake Wiliamson

This was by far their favorite activity of the weekend!

Eli was able to go out about 2 feet before it was way to deep...
Samuel however had to stay right by the side....he did not get in the big pool so much!
But he has tons of fun anyway!

This and the hot tub was more his speed.

Carlinville Park Thursday Night

Lake Williamson...arrival

We arrived at Lake Williamson about 4:30 pm on Thursday. The first thing that we went to do was to check out the mini golf course...we did not golf but the boys were excited just to play at it

This was the favorite hole!!!

AWANA

Our second night of AWANA was last night...Samuel did not want to go, but did finally conceede...

Both the boys finished their entrance tests...Eli learned John 3:16 and Samuel well he was stubborn but did learn the cubbies version of 1John 4:10 Romans 5:8 and Romans 3:23.

Eli gets cards every day at school to let us know how his behavior is...I did not catch on until the first RED card came home (which is very bad). After that we talked about what cards are the best and decided that it would be great to chart them so he could see how excellent he is doing.

Green cards are the best!

Also on the chart this past weekend we added a smily face if he was dry in the am...so far so good. He loves looking at the chart and seeing his good things!

Samuel wants a chart...I am brainstorming how to work into his day a similar card system.

Cross Country Meet

No Playground but it's still lots of fun!!

Karen's Cross Country Race

Karen ran 3 miles today in her 4th Cross Country Meet of the year! It was a hot day and she had a little trouble with her Asthma but she finished strong. Getting Ready!

After school, if you are a "pick up", you go into the lunch room

and wait...Mom (or whoever) come with their i.d. and check you out....

Time to go to school...the bus drove past the end of the street and never came!
