Girls First Day of School!!
Today was the first full day of High School. Karen started her Freshman Year and Devan her Senior Year....VERY EXCITING...for both of them. It was so nice that they could do it together!!

Today's the real deal...yesterday it was freshman only day and it was great...today is a little scary. What will they actually do to the freshman, what pranks will be played?

Fishing for Chickens...:)
Last night while Jim was moving bricks the boys took their fishing polls over to the brick piles and stood on them so they could "fish for chickens"

How tall am I?
Samuel asked this morning how tall am I? So we got out the lego's (duplo) to measure how tall they were. How tall do you think we are?
Samuel is 50 lego's tall.
Eli is 53 lego's tall.

Devan's Soccer Tournament...
Devan Played in a Soccer Tournament this weekend in Kenosha. There were 6 teams.
On Saturday they played 2 games the first was a tie at 0 - 0 and the second they won 3 - 0. On Sunday morning they played again and tied 0 - 0 and ended up in the championship game. They won the championship game via a shoot out.

Bee Stings....
We have had a bee sting epidemic around here... Samuel got stung on the 20st 3 times in the leg, then Eli got stung the following day 4 times in the face and chin, that same day Samuel got stung on the finger and I got stung on the arm.
The following picture is the morning after Eli was stung in face...poor Eli.
I heard him call me from upstairs that he could not open it, when he started crying I made my way to the stairs and he was sitting at the top not able to open his eye. After some benedryl, 45 min and him holding it open he was able to see out of it..this is when we took the pictures.
On the way to the Dr. he said it was fine, he could see, we should go to the store instead of the Dr....however we went to the Dr. just to be sure his eye was ok and he is fine but it got much worse before it got better.
The girls would give him anything he asked for...they feel so bad for him.
Devan thinks that he's cuter and sweeter with his eye all swolen, it should stay that way...NICE SISTER!!

Never thought I would really "WIN" anything...but this was for real no strings attached. Well except the dryer is electric...bummer....but YEAH!!!! The washer is hooked up and I have been using it...I LOVE IT!
New Addition to the family
Devan's boyfriend Matt had a kitten show up on his door step and asked if he could come and stay with us. We were not sure that he would stick around but he has...it's been over a week and he is still hanging around.
The boys love him and he seems to like them also.

Yard enlargened...
We had a landscape company com and clear out part of the N side of our back yard...and wow does it make a huge difference in the landscape.
Cliff Jumping...scary!
They had so much fun. Jim jumped multiple times while the girls only went once but what an experience. (for them)

This is just one example of the views that we had...there are so many picutres that I could fill a whole blog. This if from one of the scenic spots looking down at the ocean.

Just a stop along the road
We decided to pull into one of the scenic spots along the side of the road and explore. This was probably the highlight of the girls experience up till now. It was a really awsome spot for exploring and climbing.

The water was so awsome and warm, the coral was amazing and we saw so many awsome fish.
