Good Morning Puppies!!

Morning Ritual these days....

Play with the puppies and take pictures....

No morning is complete without it!

We are now 11 days old and twice our birth weight.

Eli....same day as Sam's "event"

So I asked Eli how his teacher was...

"She is mad at me" he says
I ask "Why?"
He says "I was naughty in the lunch room and the lunch ladies told on me, BUT I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I WAS DOING SOMETHING WRONG!"
"What did you do" I asked

"Well...I was putting pretzels on my eyes like glasses...they told me I could poke my eye out...but you let me do that...don't you care about my eyes?"

Really...it is sad that our lunch ladies don't have anything better to do than to get my 1st grader in trouble for putting pretzels on his eyes.

Question: Can you poke your eye out with a pretzel?

Samuel...what am I going to do with you?

So I was telling a "school story" to someone the other day and they told me I had to blog this...it might not be as good without all the had motions but those of you who know Sam can just see him.

So when I went to pick the boys up from school the other day Mr. Coburn, the principle, said that he needed to see me. This is not an uncommon occurance.

Now normally he will talk to me in his office with the door open...this day he closed the door....RED FLAG!!!

Samuel had been sent to him because 3 boys had told Mrs Emmerson when they came out of the bathroom that he had urinated on the floor.

He immediatly got a red card and sent to Mr. Coburn.

Mr. Coburn asked him why he urinated on the floor....

Sam Says..."Mr. Coburn, I DID NOT urinate on the floor. I flushed (with hand guestures) the urinal a hundred times till it over flowed"

Mr. Coburn was not sure that he believed him so he took Sam to the bathroom to replay the event.

After flushing the toilet a bunch of times and watching the water rise to the edge Mr. Coburn finally says..."OK SAM STOP I BELIEVE YOU!"

Mr. Cobrun did have a hard time discussing this seriously with me....

Where does the boy come up with these things?


Question...is there a difference in uriating on the floor and flushing the toilet until it overflows?

I say just a technicality....the boy's still in trouble!

What A Bueatiful Day in the Neighborhood!!!!

Wow! If it were November this would be a wonderful sight...

 However it is now April and I am so done with snow and cold...

When will we get the nice warm weather?

More Puppies - 4 days old

Every day they get bigger and stronger.

Yesterday they had their dew claws removed



Look at that hair!!!

It is so scary!

Letting the boys hair grow!

The boys hair is gettin long and unrully!!!

 Especially Eli's which is like straw and is constantly

sticking out everywhere.

This morning I told him he was going to have to

shower every morning or get his hair cut,

he said he would shower every morning.

I was surprised!

Samuel's hair is thicker and heavier

it lays down pretty good but has a small tuft that sticks up.

It's too much work!!!

But they love it.

Samuel lost his first tooth!!!!!

Yesterday at school, in the library Samuel's tooth

"just popped out"

It has been really lose for a long time, every morning

he would wake up Eli to see if Eli could pull it out yet!

 He was so ecxited!

 Especially when he got his "treasure box" from the nurse.

He put it under his pillow last night...

but the tooth fairy did not find out about the event until

3:30 AM  yes that's right...

so the toothe fairy did not come last night because

mommy did not get to see it or get pictures (clever right?)

But as soon as I got picutres he put it back under his pillow

 and the tooth fairy came before school!

Morning of Puppy Day 4!

The puppies are starting to spread out!

The temperature in the box is a very warm 86 degrees

most of the time.

 Eli and his morning puppy snuggle.

 Samuel, can't have just one!

 Gracie is busy cleaning them up.

 Oh so cute.



Puppies Day Three!

Still loving having the puppies!!!

 Samuel really spends the most time with them!

 Though Eli loves them...he is a little rough!

 Samuel is very careful and gentle!

Eli treats them like stuffed animals!

Puppies are doing great....Mom is worn out having a hard time moving around!

Can anyone relate to that?
