KeyLime Cove - Monday the 19th

On Monday (April 19th) Devan got us free
passes to the KeyLime Cove Waterpark!
It was abosolutly the best activity we have done...
maybe ever with the kids!
Eli, Samuel and Mom went from 10:30 am till 9 pm (closing time)
We started off in the "baby" area...it was really nice,
it was completely gated off and only adults could open the gates
yes, even Eli and Sam could not get the gate open.
There were 3 slides in this area...we played here for a long time.
(The pictures in this area were very blurry)

Next we moved on to the "playground" area
all of the water here was less than 2 feet deep!!!

Next we went to the slides.
these slides go to the outside of teh building
First they went on the body slides with no tubes...
because they were just big enough to go down I decided
not to take pictures and be prepared for "freaking" out.
The water is 42" deep...Sam is 42" tall.
Needless to say Eli did fine, Sam had to be rescued.
After watching Eli go down on the tube slides a bunch of times
Sam finally decided to go down ...with Mom ...only
After a couple of times with that then he started going down on his own but only with
the tube.
Sorry...no body slide pictures and only pictures of Eli!

After dark they went up to go on the slide...Eli went down, Sam did not...
Eli said it was toooooooo dark.......he wasn't going again...
Sam walked down the stairs.....he said it was to dark and scary...
The last area that we went to was the lazy river...

The deepest area was 42" here.

Samuel was very concerned when I was too far from his tube.

Eli however, thought this was the best...
later in the evening he even got to go on by himself a couple of times...

The last thing that we did was Eli and Sam went on the lazy river together...
(Mom was already dressed)
After their first trip they got stuck in the toe and
were pulled into the river for a second ride.
Samuel was not happy about this!
(I was walking around the river talking to them and watching)
It got worse for poor Sam...
After the second trip around Eli put his feet down to late
to pull them out, Eli was pulled under into the undertoe
and Sam was shot into the river...
ALONE...
A lifeguard was there to get Eli but Sam was crying...
1/2 way around another lifeguard asked if I wanted him to get
Sam out of there...and he did...
Sam was so upset!!!
He thanked the lifeguard 3 times!
He said to me...
"I thought I was going to be stuck in there forever and you
were just going to leave me and go home without me!"
No Drama There?
AGAIN THIS WAS THE BEST DAY ...
I highly suggest it for anyone with kids ages 4 - 12...
It is definatly for kids but it is perfect for
parents to enjoy with their kids...
and for those of you who know me...
this is not MY thing and even I had a great time!
